US Senator for Utah Mike Lee has hit out at US President Joe Biden, as he criticises the American leaders efforts to tackle migration.
This follows the latest figures which show that over two million people crossed the US-Mexico border this year alone.
Since Joe Biden took office, more than 6 million people have entered the border unlawfully according to Lee.
Speaking to GB News at the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship's conference in London, Lee said that the US has been "living beneath our ability as a country".

Discussing how the US government treats its citizens, Lee claimed that the Biden administration is "working against the common man and the common woman" and "working against people who are just trying to get ahead".
Lee added: "We've got this voracious, insatiable appetite for consolidating power more and more in government."
On the issue of illegal US migration, Lee stated that the Democrats have been "whistling past the graveyard" on this issue as they continue to make the crossing.
Lee revealed an informant from Border Patrol told him that migrants are "not just people from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Venezuela, Ecuador. It's people from places like Syria and China and Afghanistan."
Lee continued: "People who don't mean us well, people who are not here just because they want to be American citizens, you might say, coming here unlawfully, in many, many cases for very nefarious purposes. We must be concerned about this.
"This is entirely within President Biden's ability to take hold of. It's entirely within the Biden administration's ability, without further legislation, to enforce the border. But they refuse to enforce the laws already on the books."
When asked by Darren if he fears a future Islamist attack on the country as a result, Lee admitted: "we have feared that kind of attack in the United States for decades, not just ever since 911, but long before that.
"So that has remained a concern this entire time."

Darren questioned Lee on the upcoming US Presidential election, asking: "2024, red or blue?"
Lee replied: "Red. It has to be red because I firmly believe America's best days lie yet ahead of her.
"I'm inspired by Winston Churchill on that, who's reported to have said the American people will always make the right choice after they've exhausted every other alternative.
"We've given this whole progressive thing a long try. We've given Joe Biden a try. It's been a disaster. It's red in 24."
